The Institute of Banking Personal Selection will conducting a common written examination for recruitment of specialist officers in 19 public sector banks on March 11, 2012.
According a notification from the institute, online registration would commence from December 31 and end on January 21, 2012.
The institute will issue scope cards to successful students who meet the stipulated eligibility norms and they would have to apply to any of the participating banks after the latter notify the vacancies individually.
As the banking sector is graduating from general to specialised functions, the sector would need specialist officers in various fields.
