Corporation Bank opened its 33rd zonal office in the country at Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh on August 5.
A press release by the bank said here that the Varanasi zone includes 22 branches in the eastern Uttar Pradesh covering Allahabad, Ambedkarnagar, Azamgarh, Basti, Chandauli, Deoria, Ghazipur, Gorkhpur, Jaunpur, Maunath Bhanjan, Mirzapur, Pratapgarh, Sant Kabirnagar, Sant Ravidasnagar, Sultanpur and Varanasi districts.
The new zonal office will focus on the bank’s expansion in eastern Uttar Pradesh, it said.
SR Bansal, Chairman and Managing Director of the bank, inaugurated the new zonal office.
