Corporation Bank opened its 33rd zonal office in the country at Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh on August 5. A press release by the bank said here that the Varanasi zone includes 22 branches in the eastern Uttar Pradesh.
Another press release from the bank said it had opened a branch at Mirzapur, a place known for the manufacture of carpets and rugs, in Uttar Pradesh. SR Bansal, Chairman and Managing Director of the bank, inaugurated the new zonal office and the Mirzapur branch.
