Corporation Bank has launched a special campaign for agriculture lending.
A press release by the bank said here that to render focused attention to agriculture lending, the bank has launched ‘agriculture lending chaturmas’ campaign for a period of four months from September 2 to December 31.
B.K. Srivastav, Executive Director of the bank, had launched the campaign in Mangalore on Monday.
The aim of this campaign is to increase lending under direct agriculture portfolio along with canvassing of new saving bank accounts and settlement of small non-performing assets (NPA) to facilitate faster recovery of small loans under the ‘Corp Riyayati Scheme II’, it said.
‘Corp Riyayati’ is a one-time settlement scheme.
