Corporation Bank had organised an outreach campaign across the country on November 15 and 17.
The door-to-door campaign was aimed at opening new savings bank accounts to augment the CASA (current account savings account) base of the bank.
A bank statement said here on Sunday that all its 1,775 branches across the country participated in the campaign.
S.R. Bansal, Chairman and Managing Director of the bank, visited the Kadri branch in Mangalore and also Baikampady and Mukka branches on the outskirts. He also visited the founder’s branch at Udupi to give thrust to the activities of the Udupi zone.
B.K. Srivastav, Executive Director of the bank, joined various teams visiting residential complexes in Mangalore.
During this drive, the staff members from branches and administrative offices, including corporate office, reached out to customers in residential areas, business establishments and corporates to connect with the people, the statement said.
