The Government and the RBI have decided to keep external commercial borrowings limit at $40 billion.
It has also been decided to extend ECB sub-limit of $1 billion for affordable housing for two more years.
At the same time, sub-limit of $1 billion for aviation companies has also been extended for a few more months. Oil marketing companies can use a portion of short-term credit as ECB.
