Federal Bank has taken the digital route to market its account opening mobile app FedBook Selfie.
The bank has opted for a combination of search, social and media to reach out to the digital crowd. According to an official statement, the bank has tried to generate conversations/ engagements with prospective customers on social media.
It has associated with Twitter influencers to spread the WoM (word of mouth). Among the campaign hashtags are #FedBookSelfie and #FederalBankDIY.
While #FedBookSelfie was used to promote exclusive digital films, #FederalBankDIY, is a Twitter-based contest, focussed on the DIY and selfie concepts of the app, the statement said.
