H N Sinor, a veteran banker, has resigned from the high profile Banks Board Bureau (BBB), which was set up in April 2016 to improve governance in public sector banks.
While Sinor, a former Joint Managing Director of ICICI Bank, did not respond to calls, two people familiar with the matter confirmed the development. Sinor is currently abroad, it is learnt.
The reason for his resignation is not immediately known.
