IIFL Holdings Ltd, the holding company of the diversified financial services company, IIFL Group (formerly known as India Infoline), has applied for a Small Finance Bank License.
IIFL Holdings Ltd has informed BSE that the Company has submitted an application to Reserve Bank of India (RBI) for a license for setting up Small Finance Bank, pursuant to the RBI Guidelines for Licensing of Small Finance Banks in the Private Sector and the approval of the Board of Directors of the Company.
IIFL (India Infoline group), comprising the holding company, IIFL Holdings LTd and its subsidiaries, is one of the leading players in the Indian financial services space. IIFL offers advice and execution platform for the entire range of financial services covering products ranging from Equities and derivatives, Commodities, Wealth management, Asset management, Insurance, Fixed deposits, Loans, Investment Banking, GoI bonds and other small savings instruments.
