Customers of ING Vysya Life Insurance can now make their policy renewal payments at any of the 26 KarnatakaOne centres across Mysore, Bellary, Shimoga, Mangalore, Tumkur, Belgaum, Gulbarga and Davangere at no extra charge.
KarnatakaOne is the integrated citizen service project of the Government of Karnataka, which provides services to the citizens for and on behalf of various government departments, utilities and other agencies on the basis of a public-private partnership through a one-stop-shop concept. Private insurer ING Vysya Life Insurance in association with the Government of Karnataka launched the service on Monday.
This service would be available at all centres on all days, including holidays. The customers need to only provide their policy number, and details such as the premium amount due will be provided to them. Customers have the option to make their policy renewal payment either by cash, cheque and demand draft. Debit card and credit card payment (at no card charges) will also be available soon, according to a press release.
