Karnataka Bank honours top performers

Karnataka Bank Ltd honoured 74 branch heads with Managing Director’s Club membership.

A bank release said here on Monday that the bank has the tradition of recognising top performers by awarding them with the membership of the MD’s Club. This year 74 top performing branch heads from all over India were awarded on the occasion.

The Salem main branch of the bank, which is headed by the Assistant General Manager, Kameshwara M. Bhat, was adjudged the ‘Best Branch’ of the bank, and the Mysore region, which is headed by the Assistant General Manager, B.K. Manjunath Bhat, was adjudged as the ‘Best Region’ of the bank, the release said.

Addressing members of the MD’s Club, P. Jayarama Bhat, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Karnataka Bank, said that success is not accidental but is the result of hard work and dedication. For a performer, success is a journey; it is a way of life. Achievers are role models for others and are invaluable assets for any organisation, he said.

M.S. Mahabaleshwar, General Manager of the bank, highlighted the contribution of MD’s Club members in overall development of the bank.

General Managers P. Jairama Hande, N. Upendra Prabhu, M.V. Chandrashekara Karanth and Meera Aranha spoke on the occasion.
