Karnataka Bank Ltd has launched ‘KBL POS Manager’ mobile app to provide ease and convenience for its point-of-sale (POS) merchant establishments.

‘KBL POS Manager’, which is an android-based mobile application, will help the bank’s POS merchant establishments in managing the activities around POS installation.

A press release by the bank said here on Thursday that this app gives flexibility to merchants to manage their store sales using their smartphone.

Customers neither need to call the helpdesk to log support tickets nor do they need to check emails to see daily settlement report. Store sales can be viewed and monitored from anywhere.

Quoting P Jayarama Bhat, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the bank, the release said that mobile devices have now become the focal point in any business. Banking is no exception to this.

The mobile app can be downloaded free of cost from the Google PlayStore, he said.
