Karnataka Bank Ltd launched an online account opening facility on Wednesday. A press release by the bank said here on Wednesday that the facility enables online opening of savings, current, fixed deposit and recurring deposit accounts.
Quoting P Jayarama Bhat, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the bank, the release said that customers can apply for online account opening by visiting the bank’s corporate Web site ‘www.karnatakabank.com’ from anywhere and any time, based on their convenience. The data submitted by customer is safe and secure, he said.
