Private sector Karur Vysya Bank registered a marginal increase in its third quarter net profits to Rs 113.88 crore, up 6.6 per cent.
The Tamil Nadu-based bank registered net profit of Rs 106.82 crore during the same period of the previous fiscal, Karur Vysya Bank said in a statement.
For the nine month period ending December 31, 2014, the net profit of the bank increased by 5.3 per cent to Rs 326.45 crore from Rs 310.01 crore in the April-December period of the last fiscal.
Total income for the Oct-December 2014 quarter rose to Rs 1,511.80 crore from Rs 1,403.61 crore registered during the same period of the previous year.
For the April-December 2014 period, the total income stood at Rs 4,469.10 crore as against Rs 4,211.96 crore during the corresponding period of the last fiscal.
Shares of the bank were trading at Rs 601.50 apiece, down 0.97 per cent over the previous close in afternoon trade on the BSE.
