J&K Bank has given an assurance that all the records, documents and other data of J&K Bank are safe.
“All the branches operating outside Kashmir Valley are fully operational and functional. The bank has fully revived operations in 115 branches in Kashmir Valley up to September 11, 2014. A force is on to make more branches operational in the Valley once continuity is restored,” the private sector lender said in a statement.
The statement added that the bank is aware of the pain and sufferings caused due to natural disaster and committed to stand by its customers and stakeholders in this hour of grief.
The bank has also initiated steps for relief measures for the flood-affected people under its corporate social responsibility programme.
