There is a need to make communication in health insurance understandable to policyholders, according to Mr J. Hari Narayana, Chairman, Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority.
Speaking at the first meeting of newly formed Health Insurance Forum here on Thursday, he said 37 per cent of total complaints in general insurance were from health insurance.
This could have come from lack of understanding of policy related aspects by policyholders, he said.
