Karur Vysya Bank’s net profit increased by over 9 per cent at the end of the second quarter to ₹90.50 crore compared to the year-ago figure of ₹82.89 crore.
The net interest income rose by 13.08 per cent to ₹337.42 cr (₹298.38 crore) and net interest margin improved from 2.51 per cent to 2.67 per cent. Other incomes also increased by 28 per cent to ₹135.96 crore (₹106.20 crore).
The total business as at the end of September stood at ₹80,383 crore with deposits up by 3.43 per cent to ₹44,862 crore and advances at ₹35,521, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 11.32 per cent.
Gross NPA fell from 1.55 per cent to 1.36 per cent.
