Mahabaleshwara MS assumed charge as MD and CEO of Karnataka Bank on Saturday.
He has taken over from P Jayarama Bhat. The appointment of Mahabaleshwara is for a period of three years from the date of assuming charge as per the approval received from the RBI, in line with Karnataka Bank board of directors’ recommendations.
Quoting Mahabaleshwara, a press release said: “With the economy showing signs of improvement, I eagerly look forward to an exciting and eventful journey ... to keep the KBL flag flying high always.”
