New GIC Re GM and Director

K Sanath Kumar has joined state owned reinsurer GIC Re as General Manager and Director from August 1. He would also be holding additional charge of Chairman-cum-Managing Director of GIC Re. Mr Kumar is a direct recruit officer of the 1979 batch of general insurance officers and was earlier General Manager and Director, New India Assurance Company Ltd from 2010 onwards. Prior to this, he was General Manager in United India.
