NPCI upgrades BHIM app

The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has upgraded Bharat Interface for Money (BHIM), the nationwide common platform for making simple, easy and quick payment transactions using the Unified Payments Interface (UPI). It has incorporated features such as ‘Pay to Aadhaar Number’ and a ‘Spam Report’ to help users to block unknown persons requesting for money. The updated BHIM version 1.2 is now available on Google Play Store, NPCI said in a statement.
