Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) today launched its first e-lobby, providing another outlet for 24x7 banking services to its customers.
The e-lobby, which would be unmanned and located at Nehru Place in the Capital, was inaugurated by Mr Nagesh Pydah, Chairman and Managing Director, OBC, in the presence of Mr S.C. Sinha and Mr V Kannan, Executive Directors of the bank.
At the e-lobby, customers can on a self-service basis access all ATM services including cash withdrawal, balance inquiry, mini statement, pin change, funds transfer, income tax payment and cheque status inquiry. Also, cheques and drafts can be deposited through the cheque deposit machine and an acknowledgement for deposit and copy of cheque will be available to the customer.
There will also be an Internet banking kiosk in the e-lobby for undertaking Internet banking transactions. OBC also plans to introduce in the e-lobby a passbook printer for self-updation of passbook, Mr Pydah said.
