PNB Housing Finance has strengthened its presence in South India by opening a zonal office and regional processing centre in Bengaluru to cater to the growing demand in the region.
The South accounts for over 20 per cent of PNB Housing’s loan book with the outstandings in the region standing at over ₹6,000 crore. The zonal office will cater to the entire southern market, while the regional processing centre will serve Karnataka.
“There are enormous opportunities available in the South and the Bengaluru zonal office will cater to the growing demand and serve as the decision-making centre for their branches in the South,” said Sanjaya Gupta, MD of PNB Housing.
PNB Housing, which operates four regional offices in the South, plans to add five more branches next financial year to take the total number of branches in the region to 14.
