Our Bureau Reliance Capital reported a 51 per cent increase in third quarter consolidated net profit at ₹315 crore against ₹209 crore in the year-ago period.
The consolidated results include the numbers of Reliance Nippon Life Asset Management, Reliance Commercial Finance, Reliance Home Finance, Reliance General Insurance, Reliance Nippon Life Insurance, broking and distribution businesses.
Total income was up 20 per cent year-on-year (y-o-y) at ₹4,771 crore (₹3,964 crore in the year-ago quarter). Total expenses rose 21 per cent to ₹4,377 crore (₹3,622 crore).
Total assets rose 18 per cent to ₹92,109 crore (₹78,304 crore). The company’s shares closed at ₹470.10 apiece, up 6.56 per cent over the previous close on the BSE.
