The Board of Directors of Reliance Life Insurance Company (RLIC) today announced the appointment of Anup Rau as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company.
Rau, aged 39 years, joins Reliance Life Insurance from HDFC Life Insurance.
He brings with him over 17 years of life insurance industry experience.
Rau will also be a Member of the Board of RLIC, Sam Ghosh, CEO, Reliance Capital, said.
As the head of Sales and Distribution in HDFC Life, Rau was responsible for managing sales commercials, distribution operations and sales support.
Meanwhile, Malay Ghosh, who was President and Executive Director at RLIC, has become a non-executive director on the Board of the company. RLIC has done away with the post of President and Executive Director, it is learnt.
