State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur (SBBJ) has reported a 11.3 per cent increase in its March quarter net profit at Rs 187.7 crore compared with Rs 166.48 crore in the fourth quarter of the 2009-10 fiscal.
In a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange, the bank said its total income stood at Rs 1,568.38 crore against Rs 1,242.32 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
For the year ended March 31, 2011, the bank’s net profit stood at Rs 551 crore compared with Rs 455 crore in the year-ago period.
