State Bank of Hyderabad has increased the interest rates on domestic term deposits with effect from February 29, 2012.
The increase in interest rates for various periods ranging from seven days to less than two years is in the range of 10 basis points to 160 basis points for varying amount, SBH said in a release.
For deposits of Rs one crore and up to Rs 10 crore, tax-saver scheme and special deposits products, the existing interest rate structure would continue.
The rates on Non-Resident Ordinary term deposits will be in line with the interest rates of domestic term deposits. Senior citizens would get 0.5 per cent above the normal rate on deposits of one year and above.
