State Bank of Hyderabad has entered into a corporate agency agreement with SBI General Insurance Company to market the latter’s products in its branches.

“We are pleased with this tie-up with SBI General as it will offer our customers a wide range of insurance products that will meet their protection needs,’’ Mr M. Bhagavantha Rao, Managing Director, SBH, said in a release.

Mr R.R. Belle, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, SBI General Insurance, said SBH would provide scope for catering to the diverse insurance requirements with its over 1,400 branches.

SBI General Insurance has plans to open 25 branches in the next few months in addition to its offices in 25 cities, he added.
