SBI General Insurance has acquired over 10,000 customers in Thiruvananthapuram during its first full year of operations. The company's premium income across the corporate, SME and retail segments during this period was Rs 7.54 crore.
Mr N. Krishna Murthy, assistant vice-president and branch head, said that the focus would now be on the retail (motor, health, home) and SME segments in the region.
“We have also successfully established our footprint in nearly 400 State Bank of India branches situated in around the city,” he said.
Encouraged by the response, the company has opened one more branch in the State in Kochi to target business in central and north Kerala.
