State Bank of India has signed an agreement with the US-based automated teller machine (ATM) provider Diebold Incorporated for an ATM expansion project for the State Bank group.
As part of the contract, Diebold will deploy approximately 1,000 cash dispensers, more than 600 full-function lobby ATMs and approximately 60 cash recyclers, said a press released by the company.
After the expansion is complete, the State Bank group's total ATM network will grow to more than 28,000 terminals, the release added.
