SBI staff can now work from home

State Bank of India on Tuesday said it has launched a new facility to enable its employees to ‘Work From Home’. The employees can work from home using mobile devices to address any urgent requirement they may have, that prevents their travelling to work. The bank, in a statement, said this initiative is expected to benefit employees, especially women. SBI will use mobile computing technologies and maintain continuous control over all the enabled devices centrally to manage and secure the data and applications on the mobile devices. Going forward, cross-selling, marketing, customer-relationship management and social media management will also be enabled to make the work from home services comprehensive.
