State Bank of Travancore (SBT) has warned employees that joining the proposed strike on Tuesday and Wednesday will amount to contempt of court.
This is because the Delhi High Court, having heard a writ petition filed on behalf of five associate banks of State Bank of India on Monday, has restrained the main unions from proceeding ahead with the strike.
The SBT management advised staff members to desist from joining the strike.
