Srei Infrastructure Finance Ltd is looking to raise around ₹17,500 crore next fiscal, the company said in a notification to the bourses. Of this, around ₹2,500 crore will be raised through public issue of secured redeemable non-convertible debentures in one or more tranches.
Another ₹10,000 crore will be raised through issue of secured and/or unsecured redeemable non-convertible debentures (including bonds) at any point of the next fiscal on a private placement basis.
The remaining amount is to be raised via commercial papers, at any point of time in 2016-17, on private placement basis. A decision in this regard was taken at a meeting of the board of directors. Shares of Srei closed at ₹47.20, down by 9.06 per cent, at the BSE on Thursday.
