Standard Chartered Bank has launched a full-service branch here, making it the third in the State after Kochi and Ernakulam. Salim Gangadharan, RBI Regional Director, was the chief guest at the launch function held here on Friday.

Shyamal Saxena, General Manager, integrated distribution, South Asia, Standard Chartered Bank, said that Kerala has been a key market for the bank.

The new branch located at ground floor and first floor, Vrindavan Terrace, opposite Trivandrum Club will offer a range of services including no-frills account.

The latest launch will take the total number of Standard Chartered branches in India to 97 spread across 40 cities.
