UCO Bank, Jammu & Kashmir Bank and HDFC Bank have been adjudged as the best Indian banks under public sector, private sector and new generation sector respectively at the 6{+t}{+h} Banking Excellence Award constituted by State Forum of Bankers’ Clubs (Kerala).
The Second best banks are Canara Bank (Public Sector), The Karur Vysya Bank and The South Indian Bank (Private Sector) and ICICI Bank and Yes Bank( New Generation Sector).
Bank of Baroda, ING Vysya Bank and Indus Ind Bank were won the third position under public sector, private sector and new generation sector, respectively.
Kerala Gramin Bank has been adjudged as the Best Rural Bank, considering its contribution towards rural development in Kerala.
State Forum of Bankers’ Clubs (Kerala) has chosen Azad Moopen, Chairman & Managing Director, Aster DM Health Care as the Business Man of the Year 2014 considering his contribution to the healthcare sector as well as his firm resolve for the economic development of Kerala.
The Banking Excellence Awards and Business Man of the Year Award will be distributed by Kerala Governor P. Sathasivam at a function to be held at Hotel Taj Gateway, Ernakulam on December 13.
