Ujjivan Small Finance Bank, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ujjivan Financial Services, on Tuesday announced commencement of its Chennai operations with the opening of four new branches in Tambaram, Mogappair, Velachery and Porur. The bank currently operates across 24 States and Union Territories with more than 470 branches. In Tamil Nadu, Ujjivan is present across 23 districts and 68 small finance bank (SFB) branches, catering to over 6.7 lakh customers. “It is a key strategic market for us where we are offering a bouquet of products and services to customers ranging from savings account, current account, deposits, home loans, small business loans and much more,” said Samit Ghosh, MD and CEO, Ujjivan Small Finance Bank.
