Vijaya Bank has reduced the rate of interest on MSME loans up to one per cent across the board. The new rates are to come into effect on September 1.
In order to encourage MSME units to go for rating by accredited external credit rating agencies, the bank has also offered incentives to them by way of a further reduction in rate of interest ranging from 0.25 per cent to one per cent depending upon the ratings obtained.
The bank has also offered reduction in rate of interest for MSMEs ranging from 0.25 per cent to 1.5 per cent in February 2012.
