On July 6, 2020, the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement had issued fresh guidelines for international students with F-1 and M-1 visas in terms of online classes.
The guidelines stated that the US will not allow international students to remain in the country, and will not issue fresh F-1 visas to students if their classes move completely online.
What does this move mean to the Indian students?
Would the students be able to complete their entire course online in their home country and graduate?
Mr Rajkamal Rao, the Managing Director of Rao Advisors LLC, speaks to BusinessLine in detail regarding these issues.
