Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden is leading in opinion polls against US president Donald Trump. A YouGov poll shows that Biden (51 per cent) has a 11-point lead over Trump (40 per cent).
A CNN poll backs this poll. Biden has the backing of 51 per cent of registered voters, while 43 per cent back Trump.
According to this poll, both candidates have seen an increase in support after the respective party convention, but Trump has more support compared to Biden. For Biden, it's up by 7 per cent to 45 per cent, from the pre-convention 38 per cent, while for Trump, it's now at 77 per cent, a big jump from the 67 per cent before the convention. So can Trump still win?
In this episode of the Race to the White House, we look at the latest opinion poll figures.
