Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya (CSMVS) in Mumbai open its new Children’s Museum. The initiative has been supported by the Bank of America Merril Lynch.
The museum has been designed by Rahul Mehrotra Architects and incorporates the green surroundings.
In the process of building the museum space, two magnificent mango trees have been preserved. The space has been built around the trees as a mark of respect and care for the natural heritage of the precinct.
The space also has one of Mumbai’s very few African Baobab trees under which an open learning space has been created.
