Eight persons were today injured when the centring of a five-storey under-construction building caved in at Someshwaranagar in the city.
Police, quoting labourers on the spot, said three others were believed to have been “trapped” in the basement.
Police and fire-brigade have rushed to the spot to undertake rescue operations. The injured were taken to a hospital.
