The existing Accountant General offices in Hyderabad will cater to the needs of both the successor states —Telangana and Andhra Pradesh from June 2.
The offices will re-designated as Offices of Principal Accountant General (General & Social Sector Audit), Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Accountant General (Economic & Revenue Sector Audit), Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, respectively with effect from the appointed date.
This was stated in a press release by Anitha Balakrishna, Senior Deputy Accountant General (Administration).
