The Naveen Patnaik-led Biju Janata Dal (BJD) is leading in both the Parliamentary and Assembly elections in Odisha, according to latest Election Commission data.
Of the 21 Parliamentary seats, leads are available for 20 seats. The BJD is leading in 16 of these seats with the BJP and Congress leading in two each.
In the Assembly elections, of a total of 147 seats, the status for 104 is known, with the BJD leading in 70 seats, followed by the Congress in 14 and the BJP in 10.
