An inquiry has been ordered into an accident at the Defence Research and Development Organisation's submarine research facility in Visakhapatnam.
One contract worker died while two others sustained injuries in the accident that occurred during testing of a pressure tank at the facility involved in development of submarines.
The injured are undergoing treatment. The submarines are safe and the accident that took place around 5 pm on Saturday does not adversely affect the project and an inquiry has been ordered, a spokesperson of the DRDO said.
