Mamata condoles Mandela’s passing

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Friday expressed condolences following the death of Nelson Mandela. Mandela was “an icon of the anti-apartheid movement” who devoted his entire life to “fight against injustice and racial discrimination”, she said. “His lifelong struggle and sacrifice will be a source of inspiration for generations, now and forever. His contribution cannot be ignored.”
