Sunil Singhania, a chartered financial analyst, has been elected to the Global Board of CFA Institute, a global association of investment professionals.

He is the first from India to be so elected.

Singhania is currently the Chief Investment Officer—equity investments at Reliance Capital Asset Management.

He has been managing equity portfolios for over a decade.

Singhania will serve on the Board of CFA Institute for a three-year term.

He is among the 18-member board of governors that represents 11 countries - India, UAE, Australia, Canada, China, Japan, Singapore, Switzerland, Turkey and the UK and the USA.
