Two senior Congress leaders and former ministers in the Kiran Kumar Reddy Government on Sunday joined the Telugu Desam Party today.
Industrialist and former ministers TG Venkatesh, Erasu Pratap Reddy along with their supporters crossed over in the presence of TDP Chief N. Chandrababu Naidu.
The induction took place in the presence of leaders from Kurnool including KE Krishnamurthy and CM Ramesh. They said that the move will strengthen TDP.
TG Venkatesh served as minor irrigation minister and Erasu Pratap Reddy as law minister.
Both leaders said Seemandhra would develop under TDP Leader. Therefore, we are leaving Congress.
Naidu said it was like homecoming for them. The State was divided with vested interest by Congress.
