After 11 days of complete shutdown, adiminstration and research activities resumed at the University of Hyderabad (UoH) today.
The central university has been facing serious agitation after a Dalit Ph.D. scholar committed suicide in a campus hostel on January 17, 2016.
He was one of the five students of Ambedkar Students Association who were expelled from hostel as part of disciplinary action.
"Fortunately students are understanding and are ready to cooperate from today," Srivastav told newspersons at a press conference here today.
The administration has started functioning from this morning and some research scholars have started going to labs, he said.
He hoped that the classes too will commence from Friday.
