The Supreme Court has admitted the Centre’s plea for reviewing its verdict on appointment of information commissioners in CIC and State Information Commissions.
The verdict for appointing judicial members in information commissions was not meant to rehabilitate judges but to ensure commissions’ independence, the apex court said.
