Ashok Leyland has introduced eN-Dhan fuel card in partnership with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd’s DriveTrack Plus programme.

The cards are free and will be available at all of the vehicle maker’s dealerships.
“We are the first commercial vehicle manufacturer to introduce such a fuel card. Diesel is the largest cost in a truck’s expenditure. Our card will help Ashok Leyland customers save as much as ₹50,000 per truck per year,” Vinod Dasari, Managing Director, Ashok Leyland said at the launch. Fuel-spend accounts for about 35-60 per cent of a commercial vehicle’s lifecycle cost.
Features offered
HPCL also offers many features on the card including guaranteed insurance cover ₹1 lakh in case of driver and cleaner fatality and also some injury cover, said T R Sundararaman, Executive Director, HPCL.
Presently, more than 2.5 million vehicles are using the DriveTrack Plus cards, a prepaid fleet card that enables purchase of fuel and lubricants at HPCL petrol fuel stations.
Dasari said the fuel card helps the company get information on vehicle usage which may help improve the performance of the vehicle.
