The delivery will be through its existing eight hubs strengthened by partnerships with 24 kirana stores and 32 other vertical seller tie-ups.
Speaking on their plans for Pune, Ankit Jain, Co-Founder, AskMe Grocery, said, “We believe that local brands and kirana store owners have a thorough understanding on what sells in a particular locality and therefore, know the right volumes to stock to fulfil that need. Hence, local kirana stores and brands are the key anchors of our business model.”
AskMe Grocery was launched in Pune last September, and has been witnessing a growth of 50 per cent MoM over the past few months, Jain said, adding that he was confident that the new partnerships will act as catalysts for the growth of their business in the city.
